These Terms of Service ("Terms") apply to your use of yuzulighting.com, our forms, and our text messaging program, operated by Yuzu Lighting ("Yuzu," "we," "us," or "our"). By using our website or submitting a form, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.
1. Our services
Yuzu designs, sells, and installs permanent exterior lighting for homes and businesses. Information on our website, including descriptions, photos, and designs, is for general information. Design previews and renderings are illustrations, and the finished installation may look different.
2. Quotes, pricing, and agreements
Free designs and quotes are estimates based on the information available to us and are valid for the period stated on the quote. Your final price, scope of work, payment terms, and schedule will be set out in a separate written agreement. If that agreement conflicts with these Terms, the written agreement controls.
3. Scheduling and access
Installation dates depend on availability and weather. You agree to give our crew safe access to the areas of your property needed for the work, and to tell us about anything that could affect the installation, such as damaged trim, roofing issues, or electrical concerns.
4. Warranty
Warranty coverage for your system is described in your written agreement and in any product warranty that comes with it. To make a warranty request, contact us using the details below.
5. Text messaging program
Program. By checking the SMS consent box on our forms, you agree to receive recurring text messages from Yuzu Lighting at the phone number you provided, including appointment reminders, installation updates, promotional offers, and customer support. Messages may be sent via SMS and iMessage.
Frequency and cost. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Check your mobile plan for details.
Opting out. Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts. You will receive one message confirming you have been unsubscribed. To start again, reply START or opt in through our website.
Help. Reply HELP to any message for help, or email glow@yuzulighting.com or call (215) 605-1017.
Eligibility. You must be 18 or older and the account holder of the phone number, or have the account holder's permission, to opt in.
Not a condition of purchase. Consent to receive text messages is not required to buy any product or service.
Carriers. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Privacy. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your information. We do not share your mobile number or SMS opt-in consent with third parties for their marketing purposes.
6. Using our website
You agree not to misuse our website, including by submitting false information, attempting to access it without authorization, interfering with how it works, or using it for any unlawful purpose.
7. Content you send us
If you send us photos or other content, such as pictures of your home, you confirm you have the right to share it, and you allow us to use it to prepare your design and provide our services. We will ask before using photos of your home in our marketing.
8. Our content
The Yuzu name, logo, website design, text, and images belong to Yuzu Lighting or its licensors. You may not copy or use them without our written permission.
9. Disclaimers
Our website is provided "as is" and "as available." To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties about the website, including that it will be error-free or always available. This section does not limit any warranty in your written installation agreement.
10. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Yuzu will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our website. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page with a new effective date. Continuing to use our website after an update means you accept the updated Terms.
